About Us

        Our story is rooted in our own personal immigration journeys and life experiences. Daniel's story begins in Canada, where he was born into a multi-heritage family that immigrated from China and Italy at the end of the second world war. From an early age, Daniel developed an understanding of the complexities and the beauty of Canadian immigration through his own family's story.

        Daniel took an interest in business and went on to study economics at the University of Toronto.  After graduation, he started his career in the field of investment fund accounting, performance and analytics. Eventually, his career took him to Japan, where he received a work permit and spent two years at company headquarters in Tokyo. Through full immersion into Japanese culture, he learned what it is like to work in a new country, with different cultural norms, navigating language barriers, and make new friends, despite a fear of not being accepted and a lack of any personal ties in the country. Upon completing his work in Japan, this ignited a profound realization in him and a calling to helping others achieve their dreams of moving to another country, just as he did, and as his family before him did. So naturally, he decided to pursue immigration as a career path and help others in their journey.

        The story of DC Immigration's origins began in 2021, when Daniel became a Regulated Canadian Immigration Consultant and founded DC Immigration. DC Immigration is not just a consultancy; it's a realization of a dream that spans generations. It's a testament to the power of resilience, adaptation, and the pursuit of happiness that every immigrant story embodies. At DC Immigration, our multi-cultural team understands the fears, challenges, and hopes that accompany the decision to immigrate.
